WISH I HAD GONE TO THE TOWN COUNCIL MEETING TONIGHT, THEN AGAIN PROBABLY BETTER I DIDNT.

MR POWER ASKED THE TOWN COUNCIL WHAT THEIR OPINION WAS OF A FEATHERSTONE PROPERTY DEVELOPER, CALLED GARETH YATES WHO HAD PLACED VILLAGE GREEN APPLICATIONS ON THE LISTER BATHS SITE AND STACKS, THEREBY PREVENTING REGENERATION.

MRS. POWER THEN ASKED A QUESTION WHICH WAS PERSONAL AND ALREADY IN THE HANDS OF SOLICITORS, THE QUESTION COULD NOT BE ASKED, AND IT WAS THEN THAT SHE DISRUPTED THE MEETING, AND THE POLICE HAD TO BE CALLED TO RESTORE ORDER. SHE WAS ASKED TO LEAVE THE ROOM AND WOULD NOT. SHE WAS THEN GIVEN A CHOICE OF LEAVE OR BE ARRESTED.

TO THE POWERS. YOU SHOULD HAVE CHECKED YOUR FACTS. IF YOU HAD THEN YOU MAY HAVE SEEN THE RESIDENTS OF GIRNHILL AND LISTER SQUARE HAVE BEEN GIVEN THE BEST BARGAINING TOOL THEY COULD HAVE FOUND. I ASSUME THAT THE POWERS ARE NOW TALKING LABOUR AS THEY ARE HANGING OUT WITH THEM, IT WAS LID DEMS LAST WEEK,  DID THEY GET THROWN OUT. THAT MUST ALSO MEAN THEY AGREE WITH COMPULSARY PURCHASING OUR HOMES WITH BULLY BOY TACTICS EMPLOYED BY A LABOUR COUNCIL.

The previous council meeting Jan wanted to know why she could not have the same copies of agenda's and up to date info that the elected councillors are given at the meeting. Jan you really should try harder to get elected dear, that's why others are sat round the table and not you, or do you and hubby think that you both were last May. The only thing you pair are doing is knowingly being distruptive and hogging as much of the 15 min question time as possible, that's unfair on the other folk who had sensible questions to ask.
