Planning is in for a new type of "emergency" diesel generator plant to be situated in front of Pontefract golf club in the fields towards Featherstone. Will there be mixed opinions?

An interesting development you will only see in Featherstone. Maybe purely by chance or by voting information gained selected houses in Featherstone have received this leaflet.
An interesting leaflet without creator’s details and a hint that it has been sent from Wakefield or Featherstone Council, which one is it?
Given the structure of the leaflet it looks like a Fev Town Council job without permission as the information if duff.
So according to the postal area this leaflet was dropped all of Featherstone is going to suffer. The leaflet has been sent from your Cllrs who all knew about the plan long before it was discovered on a planning application. As this is a Government scheme there are only 2 people who could change the proposed site. That would be the head of WMDC Cllr Olivier Rolley and her understoody Cllr Peter Box. Don’t see that mentioned? Why?

Don't know if you know but both applications for Park Lane and Snydale have been withdrawn by the company proposing the installations. No explanation as to why is given. Grin
