It’s not that surprising that since the Labour party has taken political control again over the town that the regeneration process has come to a grinding halt. Perhaps the labour party could explain to Featherstone why there is now discussion to shut down the Chesney’s centre after most of its key staff has been pinched for the same building just built in classy Cas. Looks there is more to come. The Chesneys Centre is a key to Featherstone youth.

Considering Wakefield Councils recent decisions to close, Clarke Hall, Woolley Hall and the education centre at Hornsea, can't see them losing any sleep over closing Chesney's.
