Just received a copy of Disabled Peoples Partnership member Peter Ropers and Brendon Powers latest Accusations. Hat off guys, it took 5 minutes to recover from laughter and get back on my seat.
This week’s complaints are;
1.   “Playday was not insured nor were over events”. Come on boys that’s to easy. Brendon has all ready applied for and received a copy of respective events insurance (as he sadly does) from the places anyone can ask. If anyone else wishes to ask the question please call WMDC licensing office on 01924 302932. Don’t be shy. Fact is NO insurance = No event. NEXT BULL ****?
2.   “The people of Featherstone have been put at risk by a polluted Purston Park Lake”. That will be the same lake that upon Brendond and Ropers request was tested for 2 months prior to Playday by WMDC and passed as clear of dangerous pollution. That will be the same lake that WMDC upon receiving Brendon’s letter of complaint then put up posters warning not to “enter” the water to cover their ass regards their own insurance. That will be the same lake that was going to host 50 plus model boats on Playday as a spectacular boating regatta not seen for 20 years in Featherstone that was cancelled just in case of any risk mainly from more complaints from The disabled People Partnership members Brendon and Peter. 3.   The war memorial flowers…… It’s just not worth the ink…… Sad is all that’s needed to be said.

Something neither has complained about is The Featherstone Disabled Peoples Partnership chair person Mrs. Janet Powers (Brendons wife) and her nomination for a WDH award for community work. Is that the same community work that has cost us the tax payer over £200,000.00 over 7 years with their complaints about us the normal folk of Featherstone? That’s £200,000.00 that Featherstone could have had for the common good. Yes it is a public record held within Featherstone Town Council and WMDC annual accounts and rising by the day.
The best bit is £3500.00 received by Chairman Janet Powers on 15th April 2008. Her constituted group of 3 committee members only has 2 members. Better still no response will be given as to where the £3500 has gone or why the group operates unconstitutionally even though monitored by WMDC.
