Got to take your hat of to the Rovers especially the grounds man Rob and his one helper Pete. The pair have been taking the thermal covers on and off all week in a determined attempt to keep the pitch ready for Boxing days match.

Just got to congratulate Zak  (trained by the Featherstone Lions & Featherstone Rovers) taking his first Leeds Rhinos try tonight.
Nice one Zak and a nice one for Featherstone. Good luck. Grin

You may have been sickened again this last week listening and reading about scuffles at the Rovers v Halifax game. In defense of Rovers they were not to blame.
Often it’s only the bad things that get reported, so had to share this moment. A Fev & Cas fan standing together, talking and enjoying the real meaning of the game of rugby.

no one knows who is 'to blame'

and in any case these were the acts of individuals, all of whom must be and hopefully will be eventually identified and dealt with.
If you were at the game, and saw the incidents, and can help identify these individuals then get in touch with the club. Hundreds have already done so.

Fev vs Cas. What a chance. Featherstone will look like Wembly. A great day for the town unless the idiots spoil it.

The Rovers should be proud and so should Featherstone. The SKY footage is a smashing.

A lot of hard work preparing the foundations through wintery weather and now something to see.
One finger up to the disbelievers.

What a difference a day makes.
Cap off again to the volunteers. On a miserable wet day a huge amount of steel put up including the first roof support.
