There is passion and pride in many towns. Then there is Featherstone.
Hat of to Rob, who was born out of Featherstone Lions for this stand.

An interesting article on page 55 of the Labour Party news rag.
What do you read?
Can you smell something?

As the local scum crime wave begins due to West Yorkshire Police giving in let’s hope the events of last night produce an early stand for self help crime fighting.
If you have not caught up on the theft from The Featherstone Lions last night here are the basics. During the second half someone/ some people broke in to the changing rooms and stole 20 plus mobile phones, wallets and keys. Fortunately due to a tracking device the thieves could be seen at the railway crossing at Streethouse. The thieves were almost caught as a pride of Lions raced to the scene. After a brief chase a bag was retrieved containing most of the stolen property, but cash had been taken from wallets. Within a short time 2 names came forward followed by two more during today.
Top tip for the thief/s would be return the remaining items and leave the planet. As the Police this week are promoting self help the rough justice can only help others. Good luck with the hunt.
