Attempted robbery at Priory Post Office

Police helicopter circled whilst many police cars attended.

Unconfirmed story so far,
3 to 4 people in balaclavas attempt to rob Priory Post Office/ security van.
Possible attempt to crow bar doors of van.
Robbers escape in car that crash’s in to a garden.
Member of the public is hurt whilst trying to stop a robber.
Helicopter last seen over Sharlston fields.
Crime scene tapped off.

Got some info from John (shop owner) today
4 males in balaclavas armed with knives. Tried to get money from securicor man, but he had already put it through counter slot. They tried to get into post office and cut one of PO staff who was working just outside in the process. John managed to sound the silent alarm and then the girl behind PO counter sounded the audible one and scared them off. They didn't manage to get anything.

Location of Crime : PRIORY ROAD, FEATHERSTONE

Times / Dates Between : 1PM ON FRIDAY 19TH MARCH 2010

Details : THREE SUSPECTS ARRIVE AT THE POST OFFICE IN A WHITE RENAULT
MEGANE AND ENTER THE PREMISES. SUSPECTS THREATEN THE STAFF AND ASK FOR
MONEY. WHEN THE SUSPECTS EXIT THE POST OFFICE THEY MAKE OFF IN THE SAME
VEHICLE.

Property Stolen : UNKNOWN

Suspect Description :SUSPECT 1: WHITE MALE, 5'7" TO 5'8" TALL, THIN BUILD,
WEARING BLACK TRACKSUIT BOTTOMS, WHITE TRAINERS
SUSPECT 2: WHITE MALE, 5'7" TO 5'8" TALL, THIN BUILD, WEARING BLACK
TRACKSUIT BOTTOMS
SUSPECT 3: WHITE MALE, 5'7" TALL, THIN BUILD, WEARING A HOODED TOP AND WAS
SEEN WITH THE HOOD UP AND THE LOWER PART OF HIS FACE COVERED
