I have been educated by being told about the Coronation Club Rugby Team. i never knew they had a team apparently they had a rugby pitch where the allotments are now.
The medal you see is a Wembly final medal from 1937. It is owned by the only surviving payer.

i have been passed this picture of a Featherstone rugby team 1952/3. top left player is Ken Still. do you know any more?

Finally showed Ken Still the picture and got the following names,

Top row left to right
Ken Still, Brian Hough, Roy Collins, Ronnie Askew, ? some one from Streehouse, Bernard Barker

Middle left to right
Jeff Watson, Lewis ?, Jimmy Harrison, Peter Brightmoor, Jeff Kingsly

Bottom left to right
Don Howarth, ?

stood next to Don Howarth is Alfie Nash. It is Raymond Kingsly not Jeff.
Can anyone remember the name of the gentleman from streethouse. That is the only one whose name we don't know.

Well done Kim. Thats well spookey you correcting me today. I had a visit from a guy today who told me the same and dropped off some more pictures that i am posting soon. I had better change the title to something like Vintage Featherstone Rugby Clubs or any suggestions?
