I also wish to thank the volunteers keeping the beautiful gardens. They are a pleasant addition to drive past at the start and finish of my working day. While driving past recently I could see a man up a ladder measuring. I did not think anything about it until a friend mentioned the man was from Featherstone town council measuring for hanging baskets to be fitted on the memorial apparently without consent. Does anyone know anything about this?
