An ironic story, many people still do not realise what a gem we have. Last week while in Tesco, a Featherstone man bought a poppy. He had a Rovers shirt on. The poppy seller could not praise the memorial enough stating “we have the 2nd best memorial in the country”. Its warming to know Featherstone is being talked about positively.
