as i was growing up we had some good times on the boating lake we used to spend hours at a time there i would love to see them back again

They should make Purston Park out like it used to be with tennis courts And bowling greens and the top end of the park with what used to be in it.  The likes of see-saws mini roundabouts and the umberella as it was a long time ago. Grin Grin Grin

Does anyone have any good photos of how the park use to look like that they can post, because i've seen the odd one, but it would be nice to see what it looked like properly Smiley

I've got to agree with you ruthie, but back then there was not alot of danger from certain types people of the community like there is today, they maybe was around in those days but they were never mentioned.

purston park was alot better then and yes they are people like that in are area but they were also fears that a car would go threw the fence so i can see both side
