I've read theories on this, one is that jaglin comes from a well to do family called jacklin, who used to reside in purston, the theory i've read for featherstone,is that it derives from three(feath) and stone, its thought that it comes from a cromlech made up of three stones possibly in the north feath area, i think its either tony lumb, or jim williams theory Grin
