Police in Pontefract are appealing for information after a Doctor's Surgery was broken into in the early hours. It happened at about 1am this morning (10th September) at the surgery on Station Lane in Featherstone and a large container of Liquid Nitrogen was stolen. The Liquid Nitrogen can cause burns, suffocation and if the container is punctured it could explode. It is in a large grey container which is approximately 5ft tall and very heavy.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Acting DS 6060 Mark Jones at Wakefield CID on 101 or to contact Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
