You shouldnt expect anything other than the wool being pulled over the publics eyes.

WMDC look like they will be trying to use Adrew Wallhead to sort out the mess and save as much council embaresment as possible. No surprise that WMDC get letters printed;

A single responce has been printed;

There were many letters of complaint sent;

WMDC VS Featherstone People Part 2

In reply to WMDC Andrew Wallheads letter last week perhaps the public should know the recorded factual truth and not the un-factual fairytale that was portrayed.
The final battle to gain a fair deal for the remaining residents has begun. WMDC began the year by attempting to use “a highways issue” to supposedly build roads they do not have right to and on land they don’t own. Evan WMDC planning could see the possible law suit and failed the WMDC application. How much did that cost us all?
Mr Wallhead gave a glossy picture off a “full market value paid” for the remaining homes plus cash! Using only a WMDC valuation perhaps someone could explain when did a house valued at over £150K be suddenly worth £88k plus a boat load of words that equal a loan of £50K? Would you take half of your homes value as a fair deal?
Mr Wallhead forgot to mention that after considering many of the fats the Secretary of State has called a public inquiry to decide on the goings on. He also forgot to mention that at the “public inquiry” WMDC have so far banded the public from talking during the 2 day event that should run for as long as it takes. Perhaps WMDC would like to respond to the public with their excuse on this?
Unless there is a public outcry we the rate payers look destined to be spending far more in legal costs than to actually pay the “fair market prices” of these people homes.
If WMDC would like to talk there has always been is a meeting available with the residents, and the district Cllrs as long as offensive comments are not used, again!
