There are letters every week  in the P & C complaining about the perceived bias of our metropolitan district council. This week our leader Coun Peter Box had his twopennorth. Did he really mean to put "I will continue to stand up for the residents of Wakefield". Oh dear.
The other thing that bugs me every week is the public notice section with the oft mentioned "The Council of the City of Wakefield". This doesn't help the outlying areas who feel they are second class in the eyes of the council. There were objections to this name in 1974 so I don't suppose it will change now.
