Its car boot season! Seems this week the contents of Featherstone sheds are the unlikely stock rooms.
The moral of the story, “LOCK UP YOUR SHED AND GARDEN”.

One up for Featherstone due to a good hearted person. The old Taxi Rank at the top of Station Lane opposite Post Office Road has been blight on the street for some time. It is well known to be a hangout for taking class A drugs. After a number of drugies removed the door boarding and entered the shop at the weekend a passerby pushed back the board and called the police. Nice one. If only everyone helped a little. Grin

I have never been racist. I have many friends from all walks of the world.
After 9 / 11 my awareness to a political terror group was gained like many millions of us. Not to mention feeling the sickness of the atrocity.
I was not aware of the French attack until Saturday night. My first report was being shown a sickening video of wounded people being shot again whilst a massacre took place. I am not easily shocked. The French attack was blood thirsty and sick and appeared to me even worse than watching people jumping out of the twin towers in the hope their body would be found rather than being burned to death and never found. I now have my own new opinion of the terrorists.
My reason for mentioning / making comment is very significant especially to Featherstone who is not as far away from the action as it would like. Thanks to a terror group a race of people and a religion have been placed in the spot light as a public enemy. Sadly a minority of this type of person appears to be using the terror / fear to get on with run of the mill organised crime.
Just a few days after the French attacks on the 17th November Featherstone was hit by a group of organised criminals. 2 Mercedes cars pulled up in Wilson Street. The cars contained 3 males and 4 females. Using the power of a crowd they entered a local shop. Attempting to disguise / cover up using religious clothing they attempted to distract staff in order to steal from the premises. Thankfully due to the entire country being on high alert the staff and members of the public in the shop worked out quickly there was an unusual situation. Thankfully the robbery was stopped. The CCTV apparently will go live shortly.
My concern is where the hell do we go from here? There are no local police so who should Featherstone call...... the terror squad? Featherstone may be a small town but the events of last night could have become bloody. It would be nice to think that the police eventually turned up and worked out they should call their mates nearby districts..................................

Their appears to be a new type of thief stalking Featherstone. Over the past month there have been at least 8 thefts by persons using a white van. There appears to be 2 vans travelling around. One is a long wheelbase semi-high top Sprinter with a pair of stripes along its sides. The other appears to be a white Ford Transit. What is different is how they are operating. These criminals are using the cover of daytime and early evening to commit their crimes. Passersby are not even thinking a robbery is taking place. Quite often the vans are in clear view whilst being loaded for up to an hour. If you see something suspicious report the crime or just ask.

Over the last 12 months since the depletion of the Police resources local crime has increased. This is not shown in Police report figures as people are now reporting crime lesser and lesser as it is not worth wasting time to be told nothing will be done. I fully understand this attitude but the fact is that if a crime continues all information is important and helpful to others. Again I understand why bother? My own only positive is to help others.
Station Lane has seen a huge increase in shop lifting from a mix of local and outside thieves. Please excuse the word local as the numbers are a very small minority. Over the years there have been many particular individuals that arrive and create a dramatic impression. By bad luck Featherstone appears to have received at least half a dozen. The most bizarre has now been so in everyone’s face for so long it is time to write this simple post as a record for those who should care.
Early this year a male and female arrived in Featherstone. After an early shop lifting spree they were soon banned from some shops. This then appeared to progress to obtaining money from a person who is registered as vulnerable and cared for by WMDC. This then led to meeting people regularly on OneStop corner. A relationship then developed with a house on Fernley Street. An interesting address as the resident is presently showing on a cctv video stealing a £1000 bike amongst other issues.
This week a gathering of registered drunks and drug users met about noon. By 3pm males had been flashing there bits to women and approaching women and being sexual face to face with alcohol breathe. As the school let out a male was pissing on the rear of OneStop and flashing to passers by including kids. Although this was reported the police did not attend until a few hours later when one of the males told a shop keeper who refused to serve him that he would be back with a gun and put it between her eyes.
No long term custardy and everyone free shortly after. Continuing the disregard for the law just after 9am this morning a white male about 30 stole an elderly ladies handbag at the corner of the vets and ran away across the precinct towards the troubled residential area. Police are presently looking in to cctv and witness’s. My own thoughts are enough is enough hence this post as a tool that the local labour party do not read. As they don’t read this website they will not have read “WMDC care”!
The kettle has boiled on this one...........................

Well things haven't quietened down in the hot house on Fearnley Street. Its so busy its worth just stopping by. Today alone stolen goods from shops in Featherstone have been streaming in and out the back door. The poor residents are living in fear whilst good Samaritans have saved a few peoples bacon. Still as hot as ever today. About 9am and 3pm are just a couple of hot times to take a look at Station Lane. Todays shop lifters got a little more than they bargained for thanks to Lidle staff and the help of some nice young people who know right from wrong. The situation is boiling nicely and destined for someone getting seriously hurt.

There have been a number of break ins and thefts in the area. Some of these crimes have come up with the same culprits on other videos as the ones shown. Shortly after this video a car wind screen was smashed to steel a pair of trainers in a box. Names are all ready floating about. Where are the parents?

This guy arrived back in Featherstone about summer time. It did not take long to see him steeling from local shops. This week he hit one store 3 times until finally being caught and band. Crap hit the fan when he tried to steel from another shop and was un-politely shown the wall. White male age about 40 greasy hair in pony tail. Tattoos around neck and small beard, often has a hoody. Likes to carry a large carrier bag with a bag inside to pad it out and look full. Likes to fill his pockets as well.

It’s one of the hottest weekends for shop lifting. This pair of mother and son has been practising their work. The boy is well trained in holding objects in front of cameras and checking the coast is clear while the mother steels items either under her clothes or bay adding items in to packets. They usually park up and then hit one store before leaving town.

Please excuse this first paragraph as I am bitter. The Police and the council were made fully aware of the individual shown on the video posted on November 20th after a long crime spree. Nothing at all has been done about this male who IS A ONE MAN CRIME SPREE.  I still believe in fate so let’s see if a few details (home truths) that offend the blinkered officials looking after us have any effect. The local Labour Party is going to love this list of crimes from this one person..........

1.   10 plus caught thefts from Super Markets on Station Lane and a ban
2.   Repeated theft attempt of power tools from a workshop
3.   Theft of charity box from a cafe
4.   Car windscreen smashed to steel trainers
5.   Attempted sale of stolen trainers in a cafe
6.   Burglary of a charity shop
7.   Theft of Christmas presents

I am sure the list will grow from the seventh entry when the Labour party who do not read this site read it and work it out.
Hopefully traders will add to this particular persons escapades, but the question is will those who are looking after us do the same? Who is this male and where does he live. It appears there is something going on in Featherstone that is on the QT and only Police and Cllrs know. Well not any more. The question to ask is Featherstone a bail hostel? Part of the answer is known so I hope the response is honest. Angry

Oh it’s getting spicy in Station Lane. So much theft going on its going to take a couple of days to post it all.

The prolific thief living in the unknown bail hostel in Purston seems to have calmed down after his last three beatings.

The Christmas decoration and grave wreath thief has almost been found. Someone called Steady is trying to sell the stolen stuff but is claiming it’s his skinny girlfriend usually in leggings who is robbing the graves. Featherstone is now looking for full names and address to pass to the victims who are queuing up for their 10 bobs worth.

At least 3 teams of thieves have been hitting Featherstone. The latest trick is for a getaway vehicle to park in either the library or chemist car park or at the side of Fulton’s while up to 6 thieves operate in mass and do runners from stores with arms full of stuff. Not to mention the old couple aged 65 plus bagging as much as they can in picked out area shops. Shocked

Un-reported so far is at least 3 armed robberies on stores in the last 5 days including pouring petrol on a person to gain entry or die in flames. Shocked

What Featherstone needs is a set of stocks to put the criminals in whilst the police take a few days/ weeks to attend. Would a Town council grant for £500 cover this? Wink

Yes the traders in Featherstone have had enough of putting up with scum shop lifters. Continuing the fight back lets see how a little advertising goes down.
This is JAMES BRUCE possibly living in early numbered houses on Post Office Road. There is much more footage of the male hanging about and then after the theft hiding in the Chemist car park behind an industrial bin. He keeps popping his head out for about 10 minutes until walking of again with his loot past members of the public looking but not acting!
Looks like James has a bill to pay at Fulton's unless he enjoys having a word in his ear.

For A couple of years there have been a number of reports of theft from the more senior end of age groups. The individuals sadly have been having mental issues. There have been many that have no issues other than using their age to steel. You would think that bad enough but imagine an elderly couple who both have the same idea and worse still they are rehearsed and possibly organised! There are a few such couples operating in and around Featherstone. This couple are a team. The male is the distraction / thief and the female is the bagger. They have just been caught with a full shopping bag of stolen goods that were taken back. The problem is how to arrest such people. The advice given this time was a full gob full and report to the police Ref:13160749503. So hardened is this pair after being caught that they then pulled up the street and went shopping again!
It will be interesting to now find out who they really are? They have a small black car Reg no WV54LFD.

Excuse the short video as there is an irony. One of many places in Featherstone you would not wish to steel from is this one. To cut a story short these 3 white males with local accents aged early to mid twenties in a transit van sign written roofing on 3 sides were shown the error of their ways. This would have been left at that. However fate then came along. Take a note of the metal bucket taken out of the van which was eventually left with other items after error training by the van driving off at high speed spilling its load.
A couple of hours later a lovely 80 plus year old man arrived at a local shop nearby to buy a tin bucket. He had got wrapped up and obtained some cash because someone had been in his garden on Crossley Street nearby and stolen both his new tin buckets. The poor old guy was stressed because all he had was his coal fire and the bucket was part of his routine. His language was Featherstone sharp. By good luck staff who had seen the earlier incident and bucket asked the old guy to identify his bucket. What were the chances that he could identify one bucket. Yes it was his. It appears that Featherstone gardens have been robbed all morning. If you are a victim please add this to your report. The police are aware

Over a year since residents and business began complaining about the thief and other events such as flashing at kids on Fearnly Street and the daily day and night harassment to neighbors including a growing pile of rubbish that WMDC have confirm will be dealt with in a “reasonable amount of time”, now defined as one year. At last this week an interesting result! The house and next door is a charity owned house. After the charity delivered a brand new cooker to the house, 20 minutes later the cooker was sold. This resulted in the tenants being evicted and the locks changed on Friday afternoon. This brought to light just how active the house was. From 1pm on Friday there were groups of smack heads walking about the Lane, lost. The funniest of all was the apparent prostitution that came to light. The new temporary location was behind Labour party member Bill Mulroes charity shop with cars driving around the backs and sexually activity seen by at least 2 people in the passage way.
About 6pm the female resident arrived back at the house and was arrested by police investigating previous events. Within an hour of being released this morning at 9am the female brought a hammer and attempted to smash her way in the front and back door. She was again

Police were called to Station Lane on Friday around 9pm after reports of an assault. Apparently the victim is the person responsible for a number of break-ins recently. Ironic that recently the police turn up faster to help the criminal and not the victim.
The sooner the UK wakes up to the fact that we now have to defend ourselves perhaps some organisation can begin.

Sadly the crime wave involving Steady and his girlfriend continues regardless of some victims having their 10 bob. Such is the habit this pair have to feed. If you were looking for a steak in Onestop yesterday or sausage and bacon today you would be right in thinking there was no stock. One guess who stole it?

Steady appears to have a death wish with his disregard to his victims. This picture was taken today by a victim catching Steady climbing over his 7ft brick garden wall in to his garden with an excuse Steady was looking for a short cut to Lidle. 7ft victim vs 8 stone smackhead!
