Driving through Featherstone, I have been shocked to see amount of litter about in our town. Then I remembered we had a saviour, Yes Dick our new District councillor who pledged to clean up the streets in his election manifesto. I ‘m sure we can all remember that manifesto, full of promises.
Well Dick when is your cleaning going to start? Or are you just going to put the litter in them pot holes? Kill two birds with one stone?  It amazes me how our politicians promise so much and deliver nothing as usual.
Blame the Conlib coalition? It’s their fault; it’s the cut backs they have enforced upon us. Our local courts are going, why isn’t our district councillor Dick putting these questions in at Wakefield. Also heard thanks to Dick and his mates in the Labour party, nearly three thousand people will be losing their jobs, and guess who the Labour party is blaming.
Talking about jobs, while everybody is worried sick about their jobs, and not many new jobs being created, unless you work for the party, Labour party. See if you follow the Labour hierarchy you are guaranteed a job, just ask Rory Bickerton how he’s managed to get his new job, it’s the usual case not what you know it’s who you know as usual, isn’t it Rory?  Well done mate! Wink Hope you can look at your work colleagues in the eyes without some guilt as they lose their jobs.
