I have never seen a bigger set of ungracious loser than dick taylor and the labour party
not only did they call for a recount when they had lost by 80 votes after the recount had proved they HAD in fact had lost by 102 VOTES, WHEN THEY WENT ON STAGE HE REFUSED TO SHAKE HER HAND AND STORMED OFF AS SOON AS THE RESULT WAS ANNOUNCED. IM SO GLAD YOU DONT REPRESENT ME!!!!.  WELL DONE KAY !!!!!

This was has it happened and told to me up at North Feath polling station. Dick and 3 others arrived after 9.30 am to put up a long metal pole with a banner of his mug attached. The pole needed hammering into the ground but the top of the pole was over 2 feet above Dicks head when he struck the first blow. Glanced off straight onto his head, but not to be detered he produced a lump of wood to place on the top of the pole so as to make the impact area larger. He then had his mate stand on top of a concrete pillor on one foot holding the hamer while he held his hand to stopping him wobbling all over the place. Dick said when I nod hit the lump of wood, guess which lump of wood his mate hit.

Should be on the joke section this but it happened. Club steward nearly fell out of his upsairs window laughing, me I didn't see a thing.

What a pity you wasn't there with a camcorder Popeye, you'd have been guaranteed £250 easy by sending it in to "You've Been Framed" on the telly HEE HEE  Grin. The same would have applied to him storming out of the room when the results were given!  Grin

Kay also won fairly, not once did the monitoring officer have to remonstrate with an Independent supporter at the polling stations over voter harrassment, the same cannot be said of Labour, one old woman was in tears as she complained to the presiding officer.

a deserved very well done from me. this topic reads amazing, the hammer to the head is about right.

as for the lies and bullying i hope they all are ashamed. they pulled out all the stops this time and pulled the wool over many peoples eyes. its going to be great fun explaining every lie over the coming months with the truth, in big bold public notices.

Well done KAY we didn't want dick taylor in anyway, but we could have done with labour losing a couple more seats and the Independents winning a few more for the sake of the people of Featherstone, so well done acain KAY.

Here is a little poem I made up...hope you like it  Grin

MAY THE FIRST, TWO THOUSAND AND EIGHT,
THE ELECTION RESULTS, WEREN’T THEY JUST GREAT,
FEATHERSTONE’S INDEPENDENT, WINS BY 102 VOTES,
DOESN'T THAT TELL YOU SOMETHING LABOUR, MAYBE YOU SHOULD TAKE NOTES,
ONCE AGAIN OUR TOWN, IS BACK IN THE HANDS,
OF SOMEONE WHO CARES, ABOUT ALL IT DEMANDS,
AS FOR MR TAYLOR, WELL WHAT CAN YOU SAY,
HE DOESN’T LIKE THOSE WORDS ANYMORE, THE FIRST OF MAY,
AFTER THE RESULTS, NOT A HAND SHAKE WOULD HE ENGAGE,
INSTEAD HE GOT THE MONK ON, AND STORMED OFF THE STAGE,
SO CONGRATULATIONS KAY, YOU TRULY DESERVE YOUR WIN,
ESPECIALLY FOR BEATING MR TAYLOR AND ERASING THAT SMUG GRIN!

Now labour WMDC only have a majority of 1 seat, not a clear mandate for all their efforts to woo over the district. Maybe they should look at their leaders and start to think why it went **** up. Bit o back stabbin brings things back to a level pitch, must be a couple of decent ones left in there somewhere who can be persuaded to think for themselves.
