Title: 2014 Elections for Featherstone
Post by: yetion1 on April 27, 2014, 07:43:59 pm
On May 22nd locals in Featherstone will have 2 separate votes to make if they wish.

Cllr Richard Taylors Featherstone District Council seat is up. Candidates are Labour or conservative. Good luck with that one.

Also up is the European vote for your M.E.P. There is quite a few to choose from

It’s almost closing time at the polling stations this year. The district seats where fresh blood is available will be interesting.
Went to vote mid afternoon and everything straight forward as usual apart from one thing? There are 2 votes and 2 boxes’s to separately post each in to. The local vote is a small slip of paper. The Euro vote is an A4. The box for the local is large. The box for the euro is small. My district vote fell in the empty box. My Euro vote had to be forced in as it was full. I assume there are plenty of Euro votes locally as the box was full hours ago. Bet it’s a rear struggle to post now!
Seems a bit odd that the size of box to post in appears the wrong way around. ::)
