Looks like WMDC (Labour) and Featherstone town council (Labour) have decided not to have any Christmas lights this year. Due to insurance costs, annual PAT test costs and the cost of re-wiring to standard. :( Wonder when the Pont & Cas will print this one? Who is responsible? Featherstone Town Council has a budget of £7000 for lights. However Featherstone Town Council claims the lights are the responsibility of WMDC. Neither can provide insurance cover, Pat test certificates or any plans to re-wire. Any documents you could mention would help?
