Title: Featherstone Gallows Post by: p1d on November 28, 2010, 08:14:08 pm Hi all, could anyone shed any light onto something I heard recently.
I've heard that hundreds of years ago there were public executions by hanging performed where the houses are around North Featherstone church. I've done some research but can't find anything mentioned in any books or online. If anyone can confirm this and point me in the direction of further information I'd be grateful. If it can't be confirmed then I can forget about it.
