I wonder who these people were. Whats the chances they were from Featherstone? 25 years ago FOUR “rebel” councillors who were suspended from Wakefield District Councils controlling labour group launched a national appeal. The councillors were accused of breaching group discipline after openly opposing radical spending cuts and the controversial closure of two day nurseries. The rebels were supported by the labour party at a regional and national level. |
